For custom Kindercarries, Wrap Conversions, and Kinderpods, I am moving to presold slots on a weekly basis. There will no longer be a wait list, at least for the time being. Please do not purchase one of these slots unless you are ready to send in your print- there will be no refunds for any reason for purchased custom slots. Since I will only have a limited amount sold each week, the wait time will be 3-4 weeks from the receipt of your fabric. The wait time will generally be on the shorter side of that estimate, but I need that extra time in case something arises, like sick kids.

1. choose your print and purchase 1 yard from your favorite fabric store/website- this can be any weight cotton- most people choose quilter/designer cottons- please check the links page for great places to buy prints.

2. Decide what size carrier you need- look at the "Kindercarry Info" link in the navigation bar to the left to get more info on sizing. Each size has a separate listing in the shopping catalog so please be aware of which custom slot you are selecting.

3. Choose your strap color- choose from 8 oz brushed canvas in wheat, graphite, natural, olive and navy ~or~ 10 oz organic cotton canvas in avocado, sweet potato, and marine blue. If none of these colors work for you, there are plenty of special order non-instock colors in organic cotton canvas. Please refer to the pop up color chart on the custom slot catalog listing for swatches of all the colors- instock and special order.

a) 1 print on the front, print hood when down, and strap color on the reverse, strap color on the hood when down. This gives you a fully print side and a fully solid side.

b) The other reversible option is to send in 2 prints, making a fully reversible carrier, prints on both sides. You may choose to have appliques or not, on both sides, or just one. There are a lot of combinations that you can make here. If you need help with this process, please do not hesitate to contact me using the contact us form.

*****If you dont choose reversible, the underside of your hood will automatically be your print and the reverse side of your body panel will be your strap fabric.

5. Decide if you want an applique- if you choose an applique, please notate on the order what thoughts you have for your applique. If you need ideas, check out my Flickr album.

7. Tell me about any special instructions, such as layout of your print, or contrasting thread, or any other pertinent info.

8. You need to send 1 yard of your chosen cotton print to me right away after purchasing a custom slot. I need it within a week of purchase, so this means you should plan to mail it to me within a couple of days of said purchase. Please dont depend on a fabric vendor to ship quickly- they usually dont. If you are choosing a 2 print reversible, please send a 2nd 1 yd piece of your other print. Pieced patchwork panels require a quarter yard of 2 or 3 prints, and a half yard of 1 more print. I will provide my shipping address soon after I receive your order.

I require wraps that measure at the very minumum 4.5m, but preferable 5+m. Kinderpods can use as short as a 4m wrap. Be advised that if you choose a wrap on the shorter end of the size spectrum, it may be possible to have to do the lining with a coordinating solid cotton- I can usually provide something suitable. If you choose, you may also send another piece or wrap/fabric to use as the lining.

Didymos-must be a sz 7 for a Kindercarry, sz 6 for a Kinderpod- stripes and jaquards are the best Didy choices for conversions

2. If getting a Kindercarry Wrap Conversion, decide what size carrier you need- look at the "Kindercarry Info" link in the navigation bar to the left to get more info on sizing. 3. Decide if you want a different lining for your carrier. This will be necessary if you have a wrap that is on the shorter end of my length requirements.

4. Tell me about any special instructions, such as layout of your wrap, or contrasting thread, or any other pertinent info. I will do my best to fulfill your wishes.

5. You need to send your chosen wrap to me right away after purchasing a custom slot. I need it within a week of purchase, so this means you should plan to mail it to me within a couple of days of said purchase. Please dont depend on a vendor to ship quickly- they usually dont. If you are doing a lining, please send a 1 yd piece of your other wrap/silk, or let me know that you want a coordinating solid cotton. I cannot guarantee that I have the color you are wanting. I will provide my shipping address soon after I receive your order.
