What are the recommended ages for the Kindercarry and Kinderpack? TOP
The Kindercarry is designed to be used for children from birth to 3+ yrs/45 lbs. Refer to the question below for more info on sizes.
The Kinderpack is designed to be used for children from birth- 5/50 lbs. What size Kindercarry or Kinderpack should I get? TOP
Kindercarries come in 3 sizes- infant, standard, and toddler.

Infant is suitable for newborn-18 mos, birth- 30 lbs.

Standard is suitable for newborn- 2+yrs, birth- 45 lbs.

Toddler is suitable for 15 mos-3+yrs, 20 lbs- 45 lbs.
Kinderpacks come in 4 sizes- infant, standard, toddler, and preschool
- Infant is suitable for newborn-18 mos, birth to 30 lbs.
- Standard is suitable for 8 mos-3yrs, 16lbs-50 lbs,
- Toddler is suitable for 18 mos-4 yrs, 25 lbs-50lbs, 32" and up
- Preschool is suitable for 3-5yrs, 35lbs-50lbs, 38" and up
These are not hard and fast rules, of course. You need to take into consideration your child and what your child likes. Does your child fall within the lower range on the toddler size, but like to ride arms out?? Then you probably want the standard. Does your child want a more narrow carrier and is still under a year? Then the infant size is for you. Do you want a carrier to keep? Then a standard may be good for you. All Kindercarry mei tais and Kinderpacks will be shipped via Priority Mail with insruance. U.S. shipping is a flat rate of $12; Canada is $24, and international shipping is $42. Shipping is only combined on a single purchase. The cart will calculate the combined charge. Please understand that I will not declare international packages as gifts or reduce the value- sorry, but it is mail fraud. How long will it take to get my Kinderpack/Kindercarry? TOP

I have an awesome team consisting of myself, a work-at-home-grandma, and my big brother. Even my girls pitch in to help with packaging and affixing snaps. These are not factory sewn. All carriers are made here is IL. How do I launder my Kinderpack/Kindercarry? TOP
It is recommended that you hand launder, drip dry your carrier. Machine washing and/or machine drying may or may not result in shrinkage, bleeding, buckling of seams, and damage to your applique. If you MUST machine wash, please use a gentle wash on cold, with your carrier in a pillowcase, and use Shout Color Catcher sheets if you have dark/bright straps with a lighter colored print, or varying colors/light areas in your print. Always set washed to the largest load size for extra water to dilute darker dyes. Never put your carrier in a dryer.
Always pre-handwash drool pads before using. What kinds of fabrics and materials are used? TOP
I currently only use 100% cotton canvas on the Kindercarry- 8 oz. brushed canvas, 9 oz brushed denim, and organic 10 oz. duck. These are super sturdy fabrics! I use cotton prints for the panels. These can be of decorator weight or quilting weight. The padding on Kindercarry is polyester. The foam in the Kinderpack is polyolefin and cushion poly foam. All threads are now nylon, though carriers produced prior to 10/11 were made with polyester thread, or a combo of polyester and nylon thread. All buckles are nylon and acetyl. All webbing is nylon. All snaps are nylon. What is the Return Policy? TOP
We do not accept returns for a refund, since our carriers are made to order. We do offer exchanges if you meet the conditions below. Please contact me if you are wishing to exchange and you have met these conditions.
Conditions for exchange:

Exchange must be requested within 30 days of receipt of your carrier.

Exchanges will only be accepted if the product has been grossly misrepresented or if there is a flaw in the product. Your carrier will then be replaced or fixed.

Exchanges will only be accepted if the carrier is in brand new condition.
- Exchanges will only be accepted from sales that were generated from this website. If your carrier came from a distributor, Ebay, or an individual, you must take your complaint to those persons.
Returns will not be accepted if you decide you do not care for the product upon receipt and wish to try a different one, or if you change your mind about which fabric you chose. What is your policy on repairs? TOP
Our carriers are made to last. But, if you find that over time, your Kindercarry is in need of repair, please contact me via email and we will discuss options.
If you happen to receive a carrier that has a flaw or something of concern to you, please contact me and I will evaluate what can be done on an invidual basis. I will always stand behind my work and will work to make every customer happy with their carrier. Satisfaction is guaranteed.
Please note: These carriers are made from fabric- fabric has limitations, and will not last forever. Fabric wear is to be expected with frequent use, and especially so if machine washed. What is your privacy policy? TOP
